MATLAB

Use MathWorks MATLAB, a high-level technical computing language and interactive environment for algorithm development, data visualization, data analysis and numeric computation.

The TAH Student License allows students, faculty and staff to install MathWorks software.

Ways to use

Download from MathWorks

  1. Go to the MathWorks portal for UB.
  2. Click Sign in to get started.
  3. Log in with your UBITName and password.
  4. A separate MathWorks account is required to download the software.
    • If you already have a MathWorks account:
      • Click Sign In
      • Enter your @buffalo.edu email address and your MathWorks password
      • Skip to step 5, below
    • If you do not yet have a MathWorks account:
      • Click Create.
      • Complete the fields in the registration form
      • Check the I accept the Online Services Agreement box
      • Click Create.
      • Open the verification email from MathWorks in your UBmail
      • Click the Verify your email link
      • You are taken to the download page
      • Sign in using your @buffalo.edu email address and your MathWorks password
  5. Click the Download button.
  6. Locate and click the installer, and follow the onscreen instructions.
