Installation Instructions

Important Installation Notes

  1. Stay connected to the Internet so you can activate your license immediately after installing Maple.
  2. After you unzip the Maple files, view the file:
    • Maple2022_PurchaseCodes_faculty_FY23-24.txt or
    • Maple2022_PurchaseCodes_student_FY23-24.txt or
    • Maple2023_PurchaseCodes_faculty_FY23-24.txt or
    • Maple2023_PurchaseCodes_student_FY23-24.txt
      in order to read the Purchase Code.
  3. Follow the usual installation steps, except as noted below:
    • Choose Single User License when prompted.    
    • Enter the Purchase Code contained in the Maple2022_PurchaseCodes_faculty_FY23-24.txt or
      Maple2022_PurchaseCodes_student_FY23-24.txt or
      Maple2023_PurchaseCodes_faculty_FY23-24.txt or
      Maple2023_PurchaseCodes_student_FY23-24.txt file that you opened earlier.
    • Enter all requested information in the required registration fields (identified in red and with an asterisk.)

Maple is available to:

  • UB Students who have paid the Comprehensive fee
  • UB Faculty
  • UB Faculty Student Association employees
  • UB Geographic Full time Faculty
  • UB State employees (UUP, CSEA, MC, PEF)
  • UB Research Foundation employees
  • UB Foundation employee
