Service Description:

UB File Service (UBfs)

The UB File Service is a highly-available file service. The service is accessible via multiple protocols, such as SMB, cifs and nfs. File space is assigned to individuals and to groups for collaboration.

  • You must have an on-campus IP in order to access UBfs file space.
  • Use Cisco Secure Client before you connect to UBfs space from off campus to get an on-campus IP.

Intended Audience: UB students, faculty and staff

Availability: 24 hours daily

Support: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. ET Monday - Friday; After hours support only for urgent and high priority problems
