If we have to take your device with us for more troubleshooting, we'll usually have it back to you in 1-3 business days.

I live off campus. Can I still book an appointment with Tech Squad?
Tech Squad appointments are available to all UB students, but Tech Squad cannot meet you off campus. You are welcome to meet at our location in Silverman Library (inside Capen Hall).
I would like to meet with Tech Squad in person. Do I have to book an appointment to do this?
No appointment is necessary to meet at the service counter in Silverman Library. For assistance in your residence hall room or on-campus apartment, you must book an appointment.
My computer screen is cracked. Can Tech Squad repair this for me?
If you are having trouble with hardware, Tech Squad would be happy to troubleshoot and provide consultation in regards to the issue. However, Tech Squad will not repair broken/damaged hardware. You may seek additional assistance from a hardware repair expert on the map below:
