Announcing UB’s Snowplow Names for 2023
On Dec. 9, 2022, University Facilities announced the winning names for the Name the UB Snowplow contest, which ran from November 14, 2022, to December 2, 2022. We received more than 2,000 entries from UB faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
The winning snowplow names were chosen by UB University Facilities staff (including snowplow drivers) and were unveiled at a Snowplow Driver Appreciation event on Dec. 9, 2022. Winners were notified via email.
University Facilities thanks the UB students, faculty, staff and alumni who participated!
Special thanks go to the snowplow drivers who apply their knowledge and skill to plow UB’s 38 miles of roadways, 50 miles of sidewalks, and 17,000 parking spots!
