Service Overview

The UB Continuing and Professional Education service (UB CPE) allows units and departments to host non-credit continuing education and professional development content using UB Learns. Highlights of the service include:

  • Access to content on UB Learns for participants without an active UBITName, allowing the university to reach a wider audience.
  • Ability to collect a UB-Financial-Management-approved registration fee via credit card.
  • Online registration that allows for immediate access to the content on UB Learns.

Each unit and department will be responsible for the overall administration of their continuing education and professional development program. The UB CPE support team will assist by creating offerings in the UB CPE storefront and course shells in UB Learns.
