Summer Reading & Writing Society Schedule

Summer 2024 registration opens on Friday, March 1st.

CLaRI's Summer Reading & Writing Society runs for 4 weeks, from Thursday, July 11th to Friday, August 2nd. The camp runs from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Families must register for all four weeks.  Instruction will occur in small groups of 3 to 5 students. As such, it is not possible to accommodate vacations by offering make-up sessions.   

Children will need to be available for a 60-minute, in-person or virtual literacy evaluation at CLaRI on Monday, July 8th, from 1 to 3 p.m. or Tuesday, July 9th, from 7/6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.. This assessment will be used to determine each child's current literacy abilities and place them into an appropriate reading group.
