UB prides itself on the diversity of our community. The Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) maintains many demographic statistics regarding the University workforce.
Each year, UB is required to report employee demographic data. These requirements were recently augmented to require the reporting of employees with disabilities and employees who are veterans. Please assist in this effort by taking a moment to update your demographic information. The information you provide will be kept confidential and not released in a manner that identifies you individually.
Self-identification is available daily 7:00 am - 11:00 pm
UB's Office of Institutional Analysis (OIA) has the primary institutional responsibility for the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative information on the institution, its students, its faculty, its programs, its publics, its practices and its services.
EDI maintains demographic statistics regarding the University workforce, in accordance with requirements of the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
If you would like data and/or reports related to the University's workforce demographics, UBJobs hiring and applicant demographics, US Census availability data or NYS Civil Service availability data, particularly as it concerns gender, race/ethnicity, veteran or disability status, EDI may be able to create and customize reports to suit your needs. Please contact us to discuss what resources are available.
