Over 1,500 health professions students participate in our IPE Intiatives each year. Our major initiatives are described below.

Foundations of Interprofessional Collaborative Practice Online Module Series

This online module series provides students an easily accessible method to develop foundational knowledge essential for subsequent in-person interprofessional experiences.
Friday Night at the ER®

Spend a night in the ER without ever leaving the classroom!
Interprofessional Forums
6/21/24
UB Interprofessional Forums educate future health care professionals to improve health care delivery through collaboration. The Office of IPE hosts IP Forums in the Spring and Fall.
Interprofessional Simulation
3/28/25
Simulation provides opportunities for interprofessional student teams to develop, practice and refine interprofessional skills such as communication, collaboration and teamwork within the context of a patient care scenario.
International Interprofessional Service Project
6/21/24
University at Buffalo health professions students expand their collaborative practice beyond UB. Dental Medicine and Nursing students travel to Africa and Greece to particpate in international interprofessional service projects.
