UB Interprofessional Forums educate future health care professionals to improve health care delivery through collaboration. The Office of IPE hosts IP Forums in the Spring and Fall.

  • Spring 2022 IP Forum - Improving Care through Interprofessional Collaboration

    The 2022 Spring Interprofessional Forum brought together over 900 UB health professions students to learn about the management of chronic physical and mental health conditions experienced by many of our patients and the necessity for collaboration among health professionals in order to provide optimal care and improve patient outcomes. 
  • Fall 2021 IP Forum - Confronting Social Determinants of Health: An Interprofessional Strategy

    The 2021 Fall Interprofessional Forum brought together over 900 UB health professions students from fourteen different health professions programs to learn about the importance of collaboration among health professionals and the significance of considering the social determinants of health to provide optimal care to achieve improved health outcomes.

  • Fall 2020 IP Forum - Confronting Opioid Use Disorder: An Interprofessional Strategy

    The Office of Interprofessional Education hosted its fifth annual Interprofessional Forum addressing the recognition of and solutions for the burgeoning opioid epidemic in our country. Over 900 students from 12 professional programs will be coming together to learn about the opioid epidemic and the necessity of collaboration between health professionals in order to confront, prevent, and treat this devastating problem.
