Basics of UB Learns

Learn how to login, locate your courses, and navigate UB Learns. 

To ensure all course images and external content (Panopto videos, publisher content, etc.) display properly in UB Learns, students may need to do one of the following:

  • Chrome: Set Block third-party cookies in Incognito mode in the Privacy and security section of Settings;
  • Firefox: Add ublearns.buffalo.edu to Manage Exceptions in the Privacy & Security section of Settings;
  • Safari: Turn off Prevent cross-site tracking in Settings.

  • Brightspace Editor

    The Brightspace Editor allows you to format text, create bullets and numbering, link to images and add emojis. The editor appears in several tools in Brightspace, including assignments, discussions and quizzes.
