Student Health Services offers a variety of vaccinations (also known as immunizations), as well as testing for tuberculosis (TB).
You may need vaccinations (also known as immunizations) to protect yourself from illness, to meet your requirements as a UB student, or if you are traveling outside of the United States.
These are the vaccinations currently offered by Health Services. Note that the TB test is listed under PPD.

If you are enrolled in SUNY's UnitedHealthcare StudentResources plan purchased through UB, Health Services will bill your insurance company directly for your vaccines – most vaccines are covered in full for most patients.
For those who are enrolled in other health insurance plans, vaccines may be covered by your health insurance — please contact your health insurance company for details. Health Services is NOT able to bill other health insurance companies directly; we will bill your UB student account & provide you with a receipt that you can send to your health insurance company to request reimbursement; however, Health Services does not guarantee reimbursement from any health insurance company.
Students will have fees for services billed to their student account as a "medical treatment charge."
