On Dec. 17, 2014, President Tripathi reviewed the recommendations of the provost and faculty senate to approve and promulgate the new general education requirements for all students at the University at Buffalo, beginning with the incoming freshman/transfer class of 2016.
The AAC&U LEAP (Liberal Education and America's Promise) initiative serves as a guiding framework for the design and assessment of student learning in the UB Curriculum program. UB is a member of the AAC&U LEAP Campus Action Network, working to advance liberal education for all students.
