    The Campus Living IT group supports the business applications and hardware systems that our 250+ professionals and 8,000 students rely on for their day-to-day activities.

    Our diverse set of hardware and software systems:

    • Facilitate the business and operational needs of our professional end users
    • Provide a socially and academically supportive "home away from home" for our residents
    • Keep our facilities clean, comfortable and safe
    • Provide timely and clear information to our customers

    Each member of the Campus Living IT team is able to help with your technology questions and problems. By going through our help system, we can assign a team member to assist with whatever issues you may have. Hardware support is provided for desktop computers, printers, laptops, smart devices, and peripheral devices.  Enterprise Application support includes, RMS, TMA, BASIS, KeySystems, Mach Forms and KRONOS.

    Network and User Support provides efficient and proactive desktop, server and device support to members of the Division of  University Advancement, Alumni Engagement and the staff at the UB Foundation in the Center for Tomorrow. Network and User Support serves as a single point of contact for staff in those areas on all IT related issues.

    Application Services ensures the responsible and ethical management of alumni and donor information, as well as to provide information services in support of the fundraising and engagement efforts of UB.

    Application Services is responsible for managing and maintaining the applications and data infrastructure for University Advancement. This includes information systems management, application user support, custom web development, and liaising with UB Information Technology and other campus partners.

    HSIT is an administrative arm of the office of the Vice President for Health Sciences.  HSIT's charge is to serve as a tool for integrating Information Technology (IT) resources across UB's Health Science Schools, their affiliates, and other IT entities both within and external to UB.  HSIT exists to help our health sciences professionals utilize IT in the realization of their various educational, research, community and health care objectives. Sarah Augustynek and Joe Grupp are Interim Co-Directors for UB HIPAA compliance.

    Campus Dining and Shops Information Technology

    Campus Dining & Shops is a multi-unit company employing over 1300 people. In addition to providing the University’s dining services, CDS also serves the UB community through management of the UB Card Office, Campus Catering, Retail and Convenience Stores, and Vending.

    University at Buffalo Foundation, Inc.

    The University at Buffalo Foundation (UBF) plays a vital role in helping the University at Buffalo (UB) establish and expand its reputation as a leading public research university. As a private, independent organization, UBF assists in the acquisition of strategic assets, investing and providing resources, and providing a variety of services for the UB community.

    The Information Technology department oversees UBF data in their central accounting system, AccuFund.  The department collaborates with UB constituents to understand and implement the needs and wishes of UB as it relates to UBF data.  The IT department maintains data feeds to and from AccuFund and various UB applications, including, but not limited to, InfoSource/SIRI, Advance, Concur, ShopBlue, ePTF and UB Marketplace.

    UB CATT

    The Office of Curriculum, Assessment & Teaching Transformation (CATT) seeks to provide the Division of Academic Affairs with expertise and management over a broad range of instructional opportunities and challenges. CATT pursues the broader objective of serving as a comprehensive conduit between faculty and other key offices and administrators on campus in our collective efforts to promote the end-goal of student excellence and success by providing:

    • Support for UB Learns (Brightspace), pedagogy in physical learning spaces and effective use of educational technologies.
    • Oversight of annual learning assessment, program review and course evaluations. 
    • Support for faculty and departments in exploring and integrating innovative practices within courses and programs of study.
