Windows 11 Upgrade

Upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11.

UB does not offer a standalone version of Windows, only an upgrade from an existing version.

Ways to use

Download from Microsoft

Eligibility

Microsoft Windows 11 upgrade is available as a download to current UB students who have paid the Comprehensive fee, and faculty and staff for personally owned devices.

Faculty members/staff and students share the same level of access and benefits in the Azure Portal. There is no separate portal or site for faculty members or staff.

The UB Tech Squad assists students with upgrading Windows on their personal devices, including device intake. The UB Tech Squad does not typically assist with faculty/staff personal device Windows upgrades.
