Print from a mobile device

Learn how to print documents without touching the printer using the Wepa mobile app.

Step 1: Download and set up the Wepa Print app

  1. Download and install the Wepa Print app from your platform's store
  2. Launch Wepa Print
  3. Tap Get Started
  4. Tap Choose your school
  5. Search for "Buffalo" and tap "University at Buffalo" from the list when it appears
  6. Tap UB Login
  7. Enter your UBITName and password and verify with Duo

Step 2: Select a payment method

Step 3: Select the documents you want to print

  1. If you haven't already, launch the Wepa Print app on your device
  2. Click the ‘+’ button at the bottom of the screen
  3. Choose your upload method:
    • Camera
    • Files
    • Cloud
  4. Select your document and set your print options (number of copies, color/b&w, print size, image ratio, image auto rotate)
  5. Tap Submit

Your document should now appear under Your Print Jobs in the mobile app.

Step 4: Print at kiosk

  1. Visit any print station kiosk
  2. Release the print job with one of the following methods:
  • Touchless printing with the Wepa app: Launch the app, and select the kiosk icon in the lower-right corner (The app should say “Ready to scan”). Hold your phone up to the NFC chip on the kiosk (a small platform to the left of the screen) and your printout will be released.
  • Swipe your UB card, enter a release code, or login with your UBITName and password. Then, select the file to print and your payment method.

Collect your prints.
