Violence on Campus

The likelihood you'll experience a violent incident on campus is low; you should be prepared though, both mentally and physically, to deal with a violent situation before law enforcement arrives.

  • Hostile Intruder
    12/3/24
Tragic incidents around the country have demonstrated that preparedness, alertness, quick action, immediate notification and rapid response are imperative.
  • Bomb Threat
    12/3/24
How quickly and safely you react to a bomb threat could save lives, including your own.
  • Active Shooter
    2/7/18
The chances of active shooter situations on campus are extremely rare, but because active shooter situations are often over within 10 to 15 minutes, before law enforcement arrives on the scene, individuals must be prepared both mentally and physically to deal with an active shooter situation.
