University at Buffalo (UB)
Courses offered by registration numbers will remain available to instructors on UB Learns for a maximum period of 12 months after the semester in which they were taught ends.
Administrative courses are sites that are not affiliated with classes offered by registration numbers. Faculty and staff use administrative courses for research, communication, collaboration and course content development purposes.
The UB Learns data management policy does not apply to administrative courses. However, the UB Learns support team will review administrative courses on a yearly basis and remove courses without owners or ones that are no longer being used. Course owners can contact the UB Learns support team to have an administrative course removed.
Instructors are encouraged to back up course content and save student interactions, including grades, assignment submissions and quiz answers, before courses are removed from UB Learns.
