Jessica Best

Jessica joined UB in Fall 2022 and oversees the university’s Sponsored Project Services organization (SPS) and work closely with other related research units, notably, the Office for Research Advancement, Office of Research Compliance, and the Technology Transfer Office. She works collaboratively with faculty, department chairs, college and school deans, administrative officers, the Vice President for Research & Economic Development, and VPRED staff to provide effective and meaningful administration of UB’s research administration infrastructure. 

Best comes to UB from SUNY Binghamton where she was Assistant Dean of Finance & Human Resources in the School of Engineering.
