In December 2024, UBIT launched support.buffalo.edu, a new ticketing site for UB students, faculty, and staff. The new website provides fast, professional IT support for UBITName issues, Duo restoration, technology classrooms, and more.

New look, new email address for tickets

The new website is organized to make finding IT help at UB simple. Use search, browse services A-Z, tags, or put in a general "Report a problem" ticket and IT staff will reply.

Email notifications on your IT tickets will now come from "UB TDX Notifications" (tdx-notify@buffalo.edu). If you had message rules applied to sort your tickets into folders, you may need to update them.

Customer email replies to TDX notifications are sent to tdxreply@buffalo.edu. We strongly recommend keeping the original message content unchanged when replying.

More organizations

On the "back end," new UB departments have joined this support site. This means a more consistent user experience for more of the UB community.
