Gyeonggi Province Youth Ladder Program

As part of the SUNY Global Learning Institute at Buffalo, students from Gyeonggi Province visit Buffalo each summer for a month-long experiential learning program that includes visits to local attractions, introduction to UB’s academic programs and facilities, and development of English language skills.

An important feature of the program is the daily interaction with student cultural liaisons. These UB students orient the Korean students to campus life and interpret American culture from their unique perspectives. Through this interaction, the Youth Ladder Program provides an amazing opportunity for Korean and American students to learn about each other and expand their worldviews.
