The Question Library allows you to create an organized central repository that stores and archives questions within a course, allowing you to easily reuse them and import them into other courses.
Because of its utility for storing, organizing and accessing questions, you should consider creating all your questions in the Question Library., as the Quizzes, Surveys and Self Assessments tools utilize the Question Library. In addition, the Question Library allows you to view statistics such as how often a question is used and success rates.

Accessing the Question Library
On the navbar, click Assessments and select Quizzes.
Click Question Library.
Using Sections in the Question Library
You can use sections to organize questions into folders, which both organize the library and allow you to directly import the sections into quizzes, surveys or self assessments.
Click New and select Section.
Enter a name in Section Title.
Click the checkbox next to Hide Section Title to hide the section title from students.
Enter text in Section Text.
Click the checkbox next to Hide Section Text to hide the section text from students.
Click Save.
Consider using sections within the Question Library to organize questions imported from existing quizzes.
By hiding Section Titles or Section Text, you could utilize these features for organizational purposes. For example, your section text could be "Mathematics 101 Term 1 - Quiz Questions" for easy identification by you as the instructor.
In the Question Library, click New and select a question type.
Enter the question text and use the Options menu to set advanced criteria.
Click Save.
Click the chevron icon next to Save and select Save and New to create another question of the same type or select Save and Copy to create a new question identical to the question that was just created.

In the Question Library, click Import and select Browse Existing Questions.
Select a quiz from the Source drop-down menu.
Click the checkboxes next to the questions to import.
Click Import.
Using Questions from the Question Library
Once in the Question Library, questions can be imported into quizzes.
On the navbar, click Assessments and select Quizzes.
Create a new quiz or click the name of an existing quiz to edit it.
Click Add Existing and select Browse Question Library.
Search the question library by keyword using the search question text field or search another quiz in the course by changing theSource drop-down menu to select the quiz.
Click the checkboxes next to the questions you want to add.
Click Import or Import to Section.
Click Save and Close.
On the navbar, click Assessments and select Quizzes.
Create a new quiz or click the name of an existing quiz to edit it.
Click Create New and select Question Pool.
Specify the number of questions from the pool that you want to appear to students and how many points learners will receive for each question they answer correctly. The questions will be chosen randomly for each new quiz attempt.
Click Browse Question Library
Click the checkboxes next to the questions to add to the question pool.
