The Brightspace Question Library allows you to create an organized central repository that stores and archives questions within a course, allowing you to easily reuse them and import them into other courses.
Because of its utility for storing, organizing and accessing questions, you should consider creating all of your questions in the Question Library., as Quizzes, Surveys and Self Assessments utilize the Question Library. In addition, the Question Library allows you to view statistics such as how often a question is used and success rates.

Access the Question Library
To access the question library, go to the Quizzes,Surveys, or Self Assessment tools. From the tool navigation, click Question Library.
Using Sections
You can use sections to organize questions into folders, which both organize the library and allow you to directly import the sections into quizzes, surveys or self assessments.
In the question library, from the New drop-down menu, click Section.
Enter a Section Title. You can hide this title from students by selecting the check box labeled Hide Section Title from students.
Enter the Section text. This can also be hidden with the corresponding check box.
Click Save and then select Done Editing Questions.
Consider using sections within the Question Library to organize questions imported from existing Quizzes.
By hiding Section Titles or Text, you could utilize these features for organizational purposes. For example, your section text could be "Mathematics 101 Term 1 - Quiz Questions" for easy identification by you as the instructor.
In the question library, click the New drop-down menu and choose a type of question.
Enter the question text and use the Options menu to set advanced criteria.
Click Save to return to the Question Library, Save and New to create another question of the same type or Save and Copy to create a new question identical to the question you just created.

In the Question Library, select Import.
Select Browse Existing Questions from the drop-down menu.
A pop-up will open. Select Source.
Choose the quiz to be imported.
Choose the questions to be added and select Import.
When finished, select Done Editing Questions.
Using Questions from the Question Library
Once in the Question Library, questions can be imported into quizzes.
Navigate to Quizzes.
Create a new quiz or click the name of an existing quiz to edit it.
Click Add Existing, then click Browse Question Library.
Search the question library by keyword using the search question text field or search another quiz in the course by changing the Source drop-down menu to select the quiz.
Select the question(s) you want to add and click Import or Import to Section.
Click Save and Close.
On the navbar, click Assessments and select Quizzes.
On the Manage Quizzes page, click the quiz that you want to add a question to.
Click the Create New drop-down and select Question Pool.
Enter a Question Pool Title, the Number of Questionsto Select and the Points per Question.
Click Browse Question Library.
Select from the exiting questions in the Question Library and click Add.
