Students need to maintain accurate address information on file with the university. They can change their address in HUB with their UBIT name and password or by completing a form.
All students are required to have a permanent, up-to-date address on file.
This may be the student’s address in Western New York so the University can reach the student locally, or it may be the student’s permanent address outside of Western New York if they are fully remote.
This is the address where the student’s mail is delivered. For residential students, this is the address where Campus Living will send mail during the summer after students move out of on-campus housing.
This address indicates the student’s on-campus residence, and is supplied by Campus Living for students living in campus housing.
All students need to provide information of a person to be contacted in an emergency situation.
If a student is employed at the University by either the State of New York or The Research Foundation, they must also update / change their address with their employer. Changing / updating the student employee address record provides accurate delivery of their paycheck and W-2.

Work Study students must follow the address update procedure noted on the Work-Study webpage.
Students with a UBITName and password should make any address change in their HUB Student Center (via MyUB). University policy requires students to maintain current address information.
Students or alumni without a UBITName and password can request an address change by completing the address change form.
