GSE students who encounter an emergency situation or unforeseen expenses receive support through this fund.
The Graduate School of Education Student Emergency Fund provides limited financial assistance to students facing emergencies during their time at UB.
Emergencies involve circumstances which are beyond the student’s control, including a death in the family, accident, loss of property, loss of income or unanticipated educational expenses. These funds offer temporary financial assistance for immediate and current emergency situations.
The student emergency fund is designated to off-set short-term financial need and is not intended to replace or supplement financial aid or scholarships.
