An application for acceptance into a graduate program leading to a master's, doctoral or equivalent.

Policy

The Financial Management of University Fees Policy provides guidelines for the financial management of university fees to support:

  • Accurate cost calculations.
  • Consistent operational practices to document revenue, costs and fee rates.
  • Compliance with SUNY and university policies.
  • Adequate internal controls.

Fee Approval

New graduate application fees must be approved by:

  • Financial Management
  • Department Head or Chair
  • Unit Business Officer (UBO)

To request a new graduate application fee or a modification to an existing deposit, email the Cost Account Team.

Revenue Collection

An Income Fund Reimbursable (IFR) account(s) should be established to record graduate application fee revenue.

State IFR Slate

A unique GL Code is required for each graduate application fee. The name of the program application in Slate and the GL code should match the name of the approved fee.
