SUNY has a strategic contract with W.B. Mason for office supplies, such as staplers, pens, pencils, paper, sticky pads, and paper clips, among other items.

Minimum Order is $50

There is a $50 minimum for all office supplies orders. Please consolidate small orders to reduce the number of deliveries to your location.

Our university is committed to becoming carbon neutral by 2030. Every delivery that comes to campus generates carbon emissions.

Recycled Paper

As per the Recycled Paper Policy, the University at Buffalo requires all copy paper, janitorial paper, and other paper supplies to be composed of 100% post-consumer recycled content to the maximum extent possible.

Due to this policy, the only 8.5" x 11" white copy paper available will be 100% post-consumer recycled. WB Mason has creted a list for these items to make it easier to find and order the copy paper. 

From the WB Mason punch-out homepage, navigate to the top left where it says "My Lists" and a pop out to the right will contain the list titled "Copy Paper" with the available items.

Use W.B. Mason Punch-Out Catalog in ShopBlue

Order office supplies exclusively through W.B. Mason through ShopBlue

  • Navigate to Showcases section to the W.B. Mason punchout direct and in real-time.
  • All items covered under one contract
  • No buyer approval or intervention is required
  • Improves order processing time by over a week

When purchasing from punch-out suppliers like W.B. Mason, you exit the ShopBlue site to search and select products from a supplier's web catalog, then return the items to the ShopBlue shopping cart. The selected items are then submitted through the standard requisition and order process.

Best Practices

Substitute Items

W.B. Mason will provide a substitute item of similar or greater value, if an item is out of stock or no longer available.  The item will automatically substitute and will be noted on the packing slip, with a “(S)” next  to the originally ordered item.  If there are any questions regarding the substitute, please reach out to customer service. 

Returns

Have a problem with your order? Make sure you do not create a receiver for your order until all items are delivered in good condition and are still wanted. Returns can take up to 30 days to process through the W.B. Mason Punchout, you will not see credit reflected until W.B. Mason has issued credit to Accounts Payable and it has been applied in ShopBlue.
