Any use of the University at Buffalo name, logos or marks by all campus departments and student groups for promotional items, novelties, apparel or any reprints of those items must have prior approval from the UB Trademarks and Licensing office.

Failure to properly obtain trademark approval could hinder vendor fulfillment of your order. Items may be subject to confiscation in cases of inappropriate or incorrect trademarks usage.
To obtain trademark approval, all campus departments, organizations and groups must complete and submit a campus trademark request.
Whenever possible, please use collegiate licensed vendors. These vendors are very knowledgeable about our brand requirements, have access to UB’s artwork and maintain proper liability insurance to protect the university in case of product failure. Trademarks approval is still required for all items, even when using a collegiate licensed vendor.
