Currently enrolled UB undergraduate and graduate students who are leaving UB (and do not intend to continue enrollment later) should complete a form and review the student checklist.

Admitted & Deposited But Not Enrolling

  • Not Enrolling
    12/9/24
Admitted students who notified the Office of Admissions that they are attending UB, but later decide not to, must complete a form and make sure classes are cancelled, and should also review the student checklist.
Contact an Advisor for Information and Support

Students should consider how leaving UB can impact their academic career and future—including their progress toward a timely graduation, their financial aid package, and other factors that students may not have considered.

Students should contact their academic or program advisor immediately if they are contemplating leaving UB. Our expert advisors and professional staff can help students consider the available options, and provide guidance on the best way to achieve students’ goals. In many cases, students find that leaving the university is not the best or the only option for them.
