Reporting on Attendance in Zoom

You can see who attended a meeting, for how long, and when they entered and exited the meeting.

The attendance report is typically available 30 minutes after a meeting ends.

1. Sign into the UB Zoom web portal

2. On the left-hand menu select Reports

3. Go to Usage Reports > Usage to see a list of your recent meetings

4. Adjust the From and To fields to change the timeframe of the search

5. Scroll over to the Participants column and click on the number of participants to see a preview of your meeting data

NOTE: Every time someone joins a meeting they are counted as a participant, even if they join multiple times during the same session. Therefore, the number of participants listed here can be deceiving. For the example meeting, ”New Event”, the number of participants shown is 26, but only 8 unique people joined the meeting. In this case each person left and re-joined the meeting several times.

6. A dialog box pops up with a list of the meeting participants.  Use the check boxes to decide how much information you want in the CSV file you download.

  • Check Export with meeting data to have the meeting details at the top of the report
  • Check Show unique users to remove duplicate participant names from the report and include the total duration they were in the meeting even if they left and re-joined several times.

7. Click the Export button to download a CSV file
