AI Forum for UB Staff offers latest in AI use on campus on July 18
The forum will be held on July 18 in Knox 109 from 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

UB Information Technology (UBIT) and the Office of Curriculum, Assessment and Teaching (CATT) are hosting a forum on July 18 in Knox 109 to update and engage UB staff members on how AI is being used in different areas across campus.

The AI Forum for UB Staff will be held on Thursday, July 18th from 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. in Knox 109.
UB has been a leader in AI research since the 1990s and now has over 200 faculty working on AI projects. Here’s what you can expect at the AI Forum for UB Staff.
Thursday, July 18th 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at Knox 109
2 p.m.: Four speakers will present for approx. 10 minutes each:
- Greg Olson, Associate Director of Data Analytics with Enrollment Management
- Row Onishi, Director of Digital Products and Strategy with University Communications
- Tiffany Fuzak, Business Intelligence Analyst with the Office of Institutional Analysis
- Kevin Eye, Principal Technology Architect, Enterprise Application Services
2:40 – 3:30 p.m.: Open forum discussion / Q&A

If you can’t make it to the forum in person, it will be livestreamed and recorded on Panopto so you can view the presentations online.
