If you’ve updated your Zoom Workplace app on your Windows or Mac computer to version 6.1.0, you may have recently noticed problems scheduling your meetings. Here’s what you need to know.

Why can’t I schedule my Zoom meetings with Zoom Workplace?

UBIT has discovered that anyone who has updated their Zoom Workplace app to version 6.1.0 on their Windows or Mac computers are unable to choose a date besides the current day to schedule their meetings, until they choose a specific time zone.

This issue with Zoom Workplace 6.1.0 occurs even if you have already chosen a time zone in your Zoom profile. The time zone will still show up blank when scheduling a meeting in the Zoom Workplace app.

Are there any workarounds to schedule my Zoom meetings?

UBIT recommends the following workarounds that you can choose to successfully schedule Zoom meetings:

  • Always choose a time zone first before selecting a date and time to schedule meetings.
  • Schedule Zoom meetings in the UB Zoom web portal.
  • Schedule a meeting in Microsoft Outlook first, then add a Zoom invitation.
