Faculty may require access to certain UB systems prior to their appointment effective date. There are steps you can take, as an HR partner, to ensure access is granted ahead of time.
There are two steps to early access to UB systems for state faculty:
For reappointments or rehires within one year of separation date, please skip directly to step 2.
*Only employees who have not had an appointment at UB in the last 12 months are eligible to receive a welcome packet. This includes State, UBF, RF and volunteer appointments.

Do not add a volunteer appointment for access purposes as it will interfere with the early access process.
