Steps and procedures for setting up products in UB Marketplace for registered users granted vendor or store access. A product should be a physical product, an event or a service.
You will need to switch the view from Basic to Advanced by unchecking Basic.
Field | Description |

Product name | Name of your product, event or service. |
Short description | A short description of your product. |
Published | This must remain unchecked until a product is complete and has all proper approvals. |
Product tags | Select the product category provided to you. |
Allow customer reviews | Consider unchecking this for one-time events. |

Price | Amount to charge the customer for a product. |
Tax Exempt
| Determines whether tax will be charged at checkout. Please contact the appropriate expert if you need to charge tax. |
Tax Category | Select an item from the drop-down, if you are selling a taxable physical product. |

Inventory method | Select Track inventory if the number of available spaces or products is limited. |
Stock quantity | Enter the number of spaces or products available. The product or event will be automatically removed from UB Marketplace if sold out. |
Display availability | Checking this will allow customers to see how many spaces or products are remaining. |
Minimum cart qty | Minimum number of products a single customer can purchase. |
Maximum cart qty | Maximum number of products a single customer can purchase. |
Not returnable | Checking this will prevent a customer from submitting a return request for this product. |

Upload a File | Click to upload the UB-approved image tile for your product. |
Alt | Enter "Null" for image tiles unless they are images of physical goods. For physical goods, add appropriate alt text describing what appears in the picture in detail (e.g. UB blue water bottle with Buffalo Bulls spirit mark in white). |
Title | Title of your photo. |
All products in the UB Marketplace must contain an approved image.
Field | Description |

Is Required | Will toggle whether the attribute is required or not. |
Control type | The type of control for user input: textbox, drop-down list, checkbox, etc. |
Default Value | If there is one, enter a default value that will auto-fill in this field and be visible to the customer. |
Display order | If there will be more than one product attribute, enter a number to choose where in the list the attribute will be displayed. |
Minimum and Maximum Length | If there is a set number of characters to limit this field to, select the appropriate number. |
Submit a VPFA Content Request Form to request a UB-Approved UB Marketplace image tile.
Once you submit the form, a content specialist will create and email the file to the supplied email address. Depending on demand, turnaround time is typically two to five days.
