Workforce Planning Specialist | Workforce Planning and Recruitment Specialist assigned to the review of your position. Will remain empty until the position has been submitted to HR. |

Position Summary | A summary of duties defined in later sections and to market your position to applicants. Visit the HR website for position summary guidelines. |
Minimum Qualifications (Position) | Minimum qualifications — determined by the search committee — a person needs to be successful in the position. |
Preferred Qualifications | Preferred qualifications a person possesses that would be helpful for success in the position. |
Physical Demands | Physical demands must be in alignment with the position description requirements. |

Departmental Operating Needs | Non-competitive and Labor classified competencies needed to successfully transition into the job. When defining an operational need, think about what is needed to ensure the success of the department’s overall operations. |

FLSA | If the position is exempt or non-exempt. |
Action number (HR) | No action needed by department. This number is a unique identifier for the position. |
Job duties are a more detailed description of the responsibilities assigned to the position.
The Supervisor tab is not required and is not the official source of managing supervisors at UB.
The recruitment exception tab is populated when requesting an exception as defined in the Recruitment Exceptions policy.
Note: If a position description does not yet exist, you can submit one for review at the same time as your exception request.
